A Walk at Night 2

Ever played Knytt Stories? Have you happened upon Quincent Cartographer's "A Walk at Night"? It's the most beautiful KS level I've played; a walk at night through a deserted city is probably one of the most peaceful things you can do. And I pretty much just had an experience exactly like the game. I just got back from my walk - I explored all the nooks and crannies I could find that were beautiful in their nighttime simplicity. I walked around apartment buildings, and strolled through alleyways dimly lit by streetlamp light. I saw a small raccoon eating in the shadows that hid when I appeared. Walked down the center of the street and back again. Walked out by a lake, through a baseball field. Wandered around complexes of buildings I had never seen the backs of before.

Now that I'm back, I miss the cool night air. This was probably the best walk at night I've ever had. I'll certainly do it again sometime.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really can't contain my enthusiasm right now. The soundtrack to ShadowWraith, which I have been searching for for what feels like years (possibly true, I first played the game when I was 5) has finally been located! I haven't been able to listen to these awesome retro-techno tunes because my old mac stopped playing the audio properly, but now I can finally hear them again! These definitely bring back good memories, and are cheering up this awful snowy day (c'mon weather, make up your mind).

Tribute to Cabadath

If you have not played the Trilby Series (starting with 5 Days a Stranger), then you should. They make for a very creepy and enjoyable experience. If you have played the whole series, then you'll know who Cabadath (a.k.a "The Tall Man") is. I found this video the other day - a tribute to Cabadath someone made. The music is "Bright Eyes" by Blind Guardian. It fits the character perfectly. The intro is my favorite part!

"Fool, just another fool..."
